Sleep problems can occur for a wide variety of reasons and can be of short or long duration. It is important to be able to do a thorough behavioral assessment in order to be able to determine the best course of treatment. As a published researcher on Insomnia and former Coordinator of a Sleep Disorders Center, I can help you understand the causes of your problem and find a solution.

The treatment of Insomnia can include a variety of techniques depending on the nature of the problem.  Some typical strategies include the following:

There are many proven strategies for improving the ability to fall asleep or stay asleep that provide you with the self control to manage sleep without the need for medications.
