I primarily utilize a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach but incorporate Positive Psychology ( Solution Focused (, Transpersonal (  and Mindfulness concepts.  Helping people learn to understand their thinking processes and also identify patterns of behavior that may no longer meet their needs is an important part of the process of making both short term and long terms changes.     My philosophy stresses personal insight and responsibility, health and wellness – integrating the physical, intellectual, spiritual, and emotional in an open environment that allows people to commit to change.  I believe that giving people skills, allows them to manage their lives in a healthier manner regardless of what the future holds for them.
